Voters saw the real Danielle Smith, who put in the time and effort to rebuild her reputation and listen to Albertans after her political exile eight years ago.
Well said Andrew! The nasty, vitriolic campaign was all the Ndp had and I'm so glad Albertans mostly saw through this. Danielle Smith and the UCP ran a clean campaign with a vision for the future and did not fall to the 'high school clique' tactics of the Ndp. This took tremendous courage and conviction - demonstrating principles I think Albertan respect. And to me, indicated Danielle's Smith firm command position over the 'back room campaign strategists' who don't always appreciate 'inconvenient values and principles'. Let's Go Alberta!

I wish Ontario had someone as smart and personable as Smith... but it looks like we will be stuck with Dougie for the foreseeable future
